State Hoops is a Great Time!
I’ve really enjoyed my experiences at MSU basketball games. The Breslin Student Events Center is a wonderful facility and offers a great family atmosphere. The entertainment during halftime (MSU drum line and musical chairs to name a couple) and timeouts is usually enough to keep even skeptical fans interested…and of course the basketball is outstanding, too! Tom Izzo almost always has great teams and the 2011-12 season is shaping up to be another one. Led by senior Draymond Green and sophomore Keith Appling, MSU is in a tight battle to win the Big Ten Conference. Plenty of great home games still remain including games against Minnesota, Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Ohio State. Great food options abound including huge turkey legs, hot dogs, popcorn, and soda. A wide variety of souvenir shopping is also available from hats to socks and everything in between, including shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, and jackets.
