Every woman wants a piece of Hugh Jackman. The hunky Australian never fails to get attention regardless of his smoldering gaze and manly charisma. Turns out, he still remained a perfect catch. So when the fans found out that he redeemed his status in musical theatre, the excitement was almost everywhere. Case in point: Remember his much talked about Broadway performance with Beyonce at the 2009 Academy Awards? This became a proof to Jackman being multifaceted.
“Hugh Jackman Back on Broadway” features more of Jackman in the courtesies of musical theatre. Rumor has it that the play’s development coincided with Jackman’s hectic schedule shooting for the second installment of the “Wolverine” series. The show was originally titled as “Hugh Jackman in Performance” but the team considered a more refined approach. This approach led to prior expectations of Jackman’s followers – they wanted more of his Broadway magnetism.
The show opened at the Broadhust Theater, and what seemed to be a brilliant showcase resembling Broadway productions eventually turned out to be Jackman’s intimate moment with the audience. He opens the show with an impossibly sexy performance like he didn’t give out any real thought. Every piece of Jackman throughout the show explains his sexiness as a Broadway talent, but with much aplomb, he was able to handle it anyway.
Apparently, the show justified Jackman as more of a dancer and singer. Everyone knows he’s a great actor, but he also knows how to keep it roll in dancing and singing. He’s a balladeer in occasional ways – and his take on slow songs are too good to be true.
“Hugh Jackman Back on Broadway” shows how Jackman’s stud meter keeps getting hotter by the minute. Every single Broadway performance is an icing on the cake, and Jackman flaunting his theatrical charm? It’s too irresistible!
